Features:

The Powa Buggy includes an inverter, battery charger and solar regulator. The battery is charged from either PV panels via the solar regulator or from the mains using the battery charger. When the mains power fails, the Powa Buggy switches over to the batteries and supplies the loads via the inverter.

The inverter is programmed to switch off at the minimum battery voltage to prevent the battery from over discharging. The battery charger and the Solar regulator charges the battery in accordance with the battery charge specifications supplied by the battery manufacturer. The inverter has built in short circuit protection.

The solar regulator and battery charger includes over current and short circuit protection. Over temperature protection is included for the inverter, solar regulator, and battery charger.

The Powa Buggy works with any PV panel, but the best performance is with a PV panel between 200W and 300W.  The battery charging can be improved under cloudy conditions by adding more PV panels.

The PV panels are connected in series, and a maximum of four panels of maximum 300W each can be connected to the Powa Buggy.

Single panels with power ratings higher than 400W can be used up to 500W.  Two of the 400W or 500W PV panels can be connected in series.
